This policy applies to Raszio’s SMTP Sending. It complements the Terms of Service, which apply to every service.
The service
SMTP Sending sends the messages from your tool or system through Raszio’s SMTP server, with a dashboard to follow the sending. We set up the domain, authentication, volume warm-up and the dashboard. The tool that generates the messages, the contact lists and the content are yours.
Who can receive your messages
- Only send to people who agreed to receive your messages, or who have a relationship with your company that justifies the sending, such as a customer who placed an order.
- Purchased, rented, traded or scraped lists are not allowed.
- Every marketing email needs a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests must be honored.
- The sender and subject must be truthful about who is sending and about the content.
Reputation limits
Bounces (messages returned because the address does not exist) and complaints (messages marked as spam) hurt the reputation of your domain and of the server. So keep:
- Bounces below 5% of the messages sent.
- Complaints below 0.1% of the messages sent.
Addresses that bounce or complain go automatically onto a suppression list and stop receiving your messages. If the limits are exceeded, we let you know and may pause sending until the cause is fixed, for example by cleaning the list.
Prohibited content
Besides what the Terms of Service already prohibit, you may not send:
- Phishing, scams or messages impersonating another company.
- Viruses, malware or links to them.
- Illegal products or services.
- Adult content, gambling or pyramid schemes.
In serious cases, sending is suspended immediately, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Volume and warm-up
At first, the sending volume ramps up gradually, so providers get to know your domain. The pace is agreed when you sign up. Large changes in volume must be announced beforehand, so we can adjust the sending quota.
Dashboard and history
The dashboard is at one of your company’s addresses, with its own login, and shows the activity of each send: deliveries, rejections, delays, bounces, complaints, opens and clicks. The activity can be exported as CSV.
- History is kept for about 12 months. At very high volumes, that period may be shorter, and it is agreed when you sign up.
- The delivery status records when the recipient’s server accepted or returned the message. It does not guarantee that the message was read or that it reached the inbox.
- Opens are an estimate: some providers load images before the person opens the message or block this tracking.
Personal data
Under the LGPD, you are the controller of the data in your lists and of the delivery, open and click data collected from your sending. Raszio is the processor: it processes that data only to provide the service. It is up to you to have a legal basis for the sending, such as consent, and to tell recipients about open and click tracking.
End of service
When you cancel, you can export your sending activity as CSV until the end of the paid cycle. After that, the dashboard is deactivated and the history is deleted.
